We are recruiting for a Marketing & Bid Assistant to support our busy Communications and
Community Planning teams in preparing content for our marketing materials and digital
communications; bids & tender submissions and organising events.
The role is busy and varied with responsibilities that include creating and updating content for bids, marketing materials and digital communications; assisting on submissions, tenders, expression of interests and pre-qualification questionnaires; maintaining bid and image libraries; and producing brochures & presentations as required.
A key part of the role is assisting the Community Planning team with the smooth organisation and communication of community engagement events from project set up to post event follow up. Our community planning team designs and delivers engagement processes with local communities and stakeholders. These range from evening consultations, community planning weekends, week-long design charrettes and other collaborative events.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have an interest in placemaking and urban
regeneration. Experience in a marketing / bids team, promotion or community facilitation is
Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organisation and interpersonal skills are important.
A willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend events is required.
